The HGBNA sponsored annual charity event, Downtown Appetite for Art, supporting the Boys & Girls Clubs serving Wake County received a 2008 Neighborhood Recognition Award by the Raleigh Citizens Advisory Council. The Five Points CAC nominated and chose us to receive this recognition, which was presented to the event organizers at a ceremony on September 17th at the Progress Energy Center Meymandi Concert Hall Lobby.
The organizers of Downtown Appetite for Art, represented by co-chairs of the Event, Jan Johnston and Roy Attride, thanked the entire team of volunteers, and the event's Title Sponsors, for making the event possible.
